Caring can be a job, a career or a way of life. For many Good Samaritan Society staff members, aspects of their work are universally important in all areas of their lives. It doesn't matter whether they are on the clock or not, in a care center or out in the community. Compassion, dedication, caring and faith are the kinds of things that people drawn people to a vocation within the Good Samaritan Society hold dear.
If caring and compassion is a way of life for you, then perhaps a career at the Good Samaritan Society is right for you. Working for the Society, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you serve.
This is what the work/life balance is about at the Good Samaritan Society. Good Samaritan Society employees always carry with them the wisdom, the experiences and the rewards they gain and find in their work with residents, clients, staff and families. No matter where they go or what they do, these experiences become part of who they are.
The word "vocation" is often used by Good Samaritan Society staff members to describe their work within the Society. The word implies that the work is not just a job or a career. It is an extension of what we are called to be and called to do.
The best examples of this work/life balance within the Good Samaritan Society are our people. Click here to meet a few people from the Good Samaritan Society.
