Senior advocacy

In March 2010, President Obama signed sweeping healthcare reform legislation — known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act — into law. As parts of the new law start going into effect, many Americans still are uncertain about what the legislation will do and how it might affect their lives. To provide a perspective on issues pertaining to seniors, the Good Samaritan Society invited five experts — two lawmakers and three healthcare industry leaders — to provide information about specific parts of the law.
